hi.

what were your best/ worse purchases, and why?
best:
1. my computer (actually lasting me a very long time)

2. A fan that i purchased last year (very hot summer). it has 3 diffrent settings, from very little air to a lot

3. a tub of jelly beans (because I just love them)

the worst purchase i made was a sterrio, which i thought by the amazon reviews would last a long time- it broke in a week

when I think of others will post them here

ok here goes

the best purchases I ever made

1. my wedding ddress because I married my husband. we've been together and happy.

2.my house. we raised our kids there and had many happy years.
3. my plane ticket to move out of the Washington d.c. area and move to Bellingham, in the good Washington.

bad purchases
I don't have any. try to make the best out of whatever I buy. also research it to death before I get it.

This will depend a bit on age I'd think. But let's see:
1. My house which is big enough to have a pool for exercise and a dedicated music room to keep all my instruments ready to hand.
2. All those instruments. Spent most of my life with just one low end guitar, but with a small inheritance, have been able to purchase several varied and fine instruments to support my first love, playing music.
3. Managed to spring for an ultra-portable computer which is very fast, and easy to use making both my work and my hobbies much more enjoyable.
4. My Braille Sense which gives me all the modern power and enjoyment of a media player and tablet, but enables me to work and read in braille to my heart's content.
Worst:
1 membership to a travel club which was expensive, does not offer trips where I actually want to go, and doesn't make travel planning any easier than it was before.

Wow, this is difficult, but I’ll tell you about my most recent.
Best purchases.
I’ve got a Serta big and tall office chair.
I’ve just gotten cheap ones in the past, but once you sit down in a real one, you’ll never go back.
I’ve had a many drooling episodes in this chair after falling asleep, but we’ll not discuss that.

A purse. The most recent is really nice, and can hold all a man’s gadgets he can’t seem to do without during a day.
Cellphone, Headphones, wallet, keys, you name it.
You just toss your stuff in your purse, and sling it over your shoulder, and your pockets don’t look like you’ve got lumps in your legs.
Every man should carry a purse.

iPhone 7. I’m simply impressed, and I even paid less for it then my 6S. I’m getting married to it next week.

Worst? I usually research everything to a tee before I buy it, and if it is bad, I send it back, but.

I got a pair of Beats Solo II headphones. They sounded great, and were pretty, but they didn’t last, and kept getting electronic issues.
Now, that could have been I got a bad pair, but I’d not buy them again.
Seems the warrantee was just up and the right earphone stopped singing.
So, I can pay for the fix, or call it a loss.
O.K will they worked, bad now.

A girl.
I paid good money for that woman and all I got was a bunch of back talk.
She couldn’t cook, refused to pick up my dirty socks, cleaned, but not well, and told me to kiss her ass if I didn’t like it.
She had the nerve to tell me to pay somebody to do that stuff.
All she wanted to do was shop, go out to dinner, and dress pretty.
I told you I’m getting married to my iPhone next week, right?
I traded her for it.

Okay, that’s my list.

2. a Bluetooth cube speaker.
3. iTunes giftcard to which I quickly wasted on audio defense and night jar.
worse? hmm... can't think of any worse things I purchased.

Best purchase. hmmm... Probably my spotify subscription. Seriously, unlimited
music for ten bucks a month. I can't beat it. My worst purchase? The last boyz
II Men album. I got it before I had spotify, was so excited for it to come out,
listened to it, and it absolutely sucked.

5. My PO Box. I move often its nice not to have to forward my stuff from place to place.
6. My dogs bed, I sleep on it sometimes too. that thing is huge and soft.
My electric tooth brush . I spent a good amount on it when I did not have a lot of money and I still use it years later, with new brushes, and I never will go back to manual.

the bad stuff
1. the food you think will be good and it is not.

2. an expensive chew toy that is advertised as a long chew like for hours toy and it was gone in a minute.

3. An X and his phone bill I got stuck with after I turned his phone off when he thought becoming a military man mint he was a ladies man. lol.

Did he get mad at me for that one but oh well.

maybe that one wasn't so bad. HA!

can I add another one? it was this item my sister in law convinced me I had to have. it was an instant pot. for those who might not want to know what it does, it's a slow cooker and pressure cooker all in one. in my experience it was kind of like one of those cd player radio turn table things we had back in the day. one of the items sucked. well in this case the entire product had that problem. do not ever buy this. it has a flat screen which with sighted assistance can be easily labeled. however, it never worked as advertised. well, it did just well enough that I couldn't toss it, but for four years, using it totally pissed me off. the final straw was this past summer I was making a huge potof biker beans to take to a picnic. it was sit for the required 8 hours. you can imagine my pleasure when after two hour it went off. it wouldn't work longer than that. finally after the 2nd time of not having it work I put the beans in a stock pot cooked them on top of the tove and sent the darned thing to that greaet appliance junkyard in the sky. the galling thing is that I paid over 190 for the blessed pos.

You might have gotten the older gen instant pot. There is a new one you can
control with your phone.
